Seeds are a natural product, but when they are fresh, stored correctly and germinated according to our instructions, they should perform as expected. If something goes wrong, we want to help you find a fair solution.
What do we need from you?
To review a germination claim, please contact our customer service team and include as much information as possible. This helps us understand what happened and solve the case faster.
Please include:
- Your Seedstockers order number
- Clear pictures of the seeds and germination attempt
- A short explanation of the germination method used
- The date you started germination
If possible, a picture of the original Seedstockers package, including the batch number The more complete the information, the easier it is for us to have proof so we can handle the case properly.
Conditions of the guarantee
Our 100% germination guarantee applies when:
- The seeds were purchased recently and directly from the Seedstockers online store
- The seeds were stored correctly before germination
- Germination was done according to the Seedstockers germination instructions
- The customer is legally allowed to germinate seeds in their location
- The claim concerns small quantities bought for personal use through our online store
Seeds should be kept fresh and protected from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. For best storage, keep them in a cool, dark and stable place. If possible, store them in a fridge at around 6°C to 7°C.
What happens if your claim is accepted?
If your germination claim is accepted, Seedstockers will choose the most suitable solution depending on the situation.
This can be either:
-Sending replacement seeds
-Creating a discount code with the value of the seeds that did not germinate, so you can place a new order yourself
The choice between replacement seeds or a discount code is made by Seedstockers. The customer cannot choose which option will be used.
The germination guarantee covers the value of the seeds that did not germinate. Shipping costs are not part of the guarantee.
We do not refund germination claims in money. The solution will always be replacement seeds or store credit in the form of a discount code.
Bought from a reseller?
If you bought your Seedstockers Seeds, from another shop or reseller, please contact that reseller first. They are responsible for handling your purchase and helping with the first solution.
If the reseller does not cooperate or you feel stuck, you are still welcome to contact us. We will do our best to work together with the reseller and help get the case solved. Our goal is always the same: finish with a smile.
When can a claim be refused?
We want to be fair and generous, but we also need to protect the guarantee from misuse.
Seedstockers may decide not to compensate a claim if we have serious reason to doubt:
- The origin of the seeds
- The freshness or storage conditions
- Whether the correct germination instructions were followed
- Whether the seeds were exposed to heat, direct sunlight or poor storage
- Whether unsuitable germination or growing practices were used
- Whether the customer is legally allowed to germinate seeds
The 100% germination guarantee is intended for growers who recently bought small seeds directly from Seedstockers. B2B customers can contact us separately to discuss the guarantees and conditions that apply to wholesale orders.
