To make her autoflowering, our breeders crossed her with Moby Dick Autoflower, which provides the automatic gene and boosts her yielding power even further. The result is a fast, generous hybrid with an aromatic profile that never goes unnoticed.
Two phenotypes: compact and productive, or tall and covered in pistils
Blue Moby© Autoflower shows two very distinct phenotypes, and they are easy to tell apart as soon as flowering begins:
- Phenotype 1: short, tight and compact, with plants under 60 cm that don't take up much space. She develops impressive swollen calyxes, finishes sooner and produces massive yields. She particularly captures the Blue Dream bud structure, helped by Moby Dick for even fatter nuggets.
- Phenotype 2: stretches more, develops lots of lateral branching and reaches around 80 cm. Her calyxes are smaller, but she gets covered in tons of red pistils. She takes a little longer to kick off flowering and needs one or two extra weeks to mature properly.
For many growers the first phenotype takes first prize, as she shows what many consider the epitome of bud and calyx structure. Even so, both deliver harvests that are well worth it.
Huge yields: around 150 g per plant
In our grow tests, all plants produced well, with an average of around 150 g per plant. The short, stocky phenotype was the most productive, with over 200 g per plant.
And it's not just about quantity: Blue Moby© Autoflower takes the prize for the most gorgeous bud structure, with giant snow-blasted beasts that show off all the colours of the northern lights. The oversized calyxes of the first phenotype and the thousands of red pistils covering her sister make for gorgeous buds.
Aroma and flavour: blueberries, Kush notes and a woody base
From the very beginning of flowering, Blue Moby© Autoflower smells like blueberries from head to toe: think blueberry pie, blueberry syrup and anything else blueberry you can imagine. As she matures, rich Kushy tones make their way through, although the sweet pungency of blueberry remains her signature. Some phenotypes are sweeter, while others express tart and even menthol-like aromas on the live plant.
The dried buds keep that syrupy blueberry sweetness and develop an earthy, woody aroma with a spicy edge that really comes through in her thick smoke. A word of warning: in our tests, carbon filters struggled to keep up with her, so consider upgrading your ventilation before you get in trouble with the neighbours.

Blue Moby© Autoflower combines a cheerful mental high with deep body relaxation. The effect hits first behind the eyes, travels down to the cheeks and then spreads throughout the body.

How to grow Blue Moby© Autoflower seeds: key tips
Blue Moby© Autoflower is an incredibly easy strain that, as our tests show, produces huge amounts of potent buds even with very few nutrients. She isn't a heavy feeder, but she is very rewarding.
The first phenotype starts flowering in earnest at 4 weeks; the second may show the first signs around week 5, but doesn't really pick up pace until week 6 or 7. All in all, count on around 12 weeks from seed to harvest, and a bit longer for the tall phenotype, which needs an extended preflowering period and enough time to show everything she has to offer. Whether in an indoor grow or an outdoor grow, the wait is worth it.
Tips to get the best out of her:
- Defoliate: it's the key to maximising yield in both phenotypes, indoors and outdoors, so it's worth getting familiar with this technique.
- Support the branches: she has a ton of nodes, which translates into giant yields that need support. The first phenotype usually holds herself up well, but stakes are a must for the second.
- Feed lightly: in our tests, generic potting soil (NPK 1.8-2-2) with 1 g of dolomite lime per litre as a source of calcium and magnesium was enough for veg. During flowering, extra phosphorus and potassium boost yield and potency.
- Big pots and plenty of water at the end: she sucks up water like crazy towards the end of maturation, so a larger container will help you water less often.
- In small spaces, select: plant several seeds and keep the compact phenotype as soon as you can tell them apart at the start of flowering; you'll get the biggest possible yield of the very best buds.
