How do you create something truly new in cannabis?
Sometimes it starts with years of searching… and one unexpected connection.

In September 2024, we had several new IBL lines ready for production. These were the result of close collaboration with some of our most trusted breeders, all working towards one clear goal: creating truly stable Cannabis Seeds that growers can rely on, cycle after cycle.

At that point, the plan was simple. Multiply these lines and bring them to market as next-level Feminized Seeds.

But then something changed everything.

When Science Meets Breeding

Just as we were preparing production, we connected with a research team from the biology department of a major European university. For now, we can’t share their name, but the team includes a department director, a biomedical professor and a natural scientist.

For years, we had been exploring the idea of polyploid cannabis. The potential was clear, but the right partners were hard to find.

This team already had experience developing triploids in agricultural hemp and other plant species, where polyploid breeding is used to improve uniformity, vigor and crop reliability.

What they were missing were stable, high-THC IBL genetics to take their research further.
