All three parents of Apollo Black Cherry© Feminized (Apollo 13, Black Cherry Cheesecake and Cherry AK47) were selected for their unusual cherry-flavoured terpene profile. Apollo 13 comes from a highly respected gene bank, built through delicate, painstaking work, and the Jack Herer genetic line had a major influence on it. From that line, the sativa phenotype was selected and crossed with Black Cherry Cheesecake and Cherry AK47.
The hybrid phenotype of Black Cherry Cheesecake that was used is believed to come from a breeder in Oregon, USA, and is a stellar cross of Black Cherry Soda, Super Silver Haze and Cheese. Cherry AK47, for her part, won an award at The Highlife Cup in 2019 and brings her own heritage, representing the breeders of Holland: a skunk variety with a rich selection of parents from Mexico, Thailand, Afghanistan and Colombia.
