How to grow Thunder Banana© Autoflower seeds indoors and outdoors

Thunder Banana© Autoflower has been selected for her ease of growth. Although she's sativa-dominant, you'll see a slight phenotype spread: some more indica-leaning, with tighter, more compact flowers, and others more sativa-leaning, with slightly less dense buds that still feel firm inside, which stretch a bit more and may need an extra week or two. Plants average around 50 cm by harvest: between weeks 4 and 6 they double or triple in size in a manageable stretch that leaves just enough internodal spacing for the blooms to stack nicely.

For indoor growing, she's a compact, bushy plant that won't take up much vertical space, ideal for multi-level grows. Numerous plants in 5-10 L pots work great. She responds well to topping and LST, although many growers get the best yields from lollipopping: removing most of the lower branches so the plant puts her energy into the main central bloom. Use screens or supports, as her branches may not be strong enough to hold the weight of the buds.

For outdoor growing, she can be sensitive to powdery mildew in damp, cold, late-season climates, so pick the warmest, sunniest and driest three months. In dry, Mediterranean-type climates you can get two or even three successive crops a year. During testing, every plant yielded over 100 g with premium potency, which puts her among our high-yielding strains.

One of her phenotypes, the shorter and bushier one, produces incredible amounts of trichomes, ideal for ice-water extraction with an Ice-O-Lator and generous yields of hash. Her intense terpene profile delivers incredibly flavourful concentrates, whether you use CO2, ethanol, butane or other hydrocarbons.
