Genetics specifically for growing cannabis outdoors in your climate.
In this project, the breeders from Seedstockers Seed Bank picked cannabis plants from a special Erdbeer selection from Helvetic Seeds which they obtained through an Austrian outdoor grower, making it a unique addition to our outdoor cannabis seed collection. They crossed these with Dutch Treat, a popular strain for growing cannabis outdoors by East Island Seeds from Canada. The cross is easy to grow outdoors and relatively resistant to mould and pests. After seven generations, a hybrid outdoor strain with Indica dominant characteristics has been created. Perfect cannabis seeds for outdoor!
Best outdoor cannabis seeds with a short flowering time
These cannabis genetics are easy to grow, have a very strong effect and a sweet, fruity, almost exotic flavour. Zmäkdaun is a cannabis plant with a short flowering time of 8 to 9 weeks and has a THC content of around 19%. These outdoor feminised cannabis seeds are ideal for those looking for high yields, beautiful buds and a relaxed and pleasant effect. These cannabis seeds have been developed by Seedstockers Seed Company especially for outdoor cultivation. These outdoor cannabis seeds are not recommended for people growing weed indoors.
By the way, this strain is not a so-called "fast version" or "F1" strain. Those are strains with recessive ruderalis (auto) genetics. These strains are slightly faster than their normal photperiod ancestors, but are not specifically adapted to relatively cold and humid climates. As a result, they are not specifically suited to areas such as north-western Europe, southern South America and humid tropical regions. A dedicated outdoor cannabis strain like Zmäkdaun, however, is adapted to outdoor cannabis growing.

Aroma of the dried buds
The dried buds maintain their syrupy, blueberry sweetness whilst also developing an earthy and woody aroma that is really noticeable in Blue Moby’s thick smoke.
Why not Autoflower outdoor cannabis seeds?
While Autoflowering seeds are a very good solution for people who want to grow a small but productive plant quickly on a balcony or in a small spot in a garden, there are also features of automatic strains that not all outdoor cultivators look for. Autoflowers stay relatively compact (usually no more than about 120 cm and often even smaller). Outdoor autoflowers usually flower in about 10 to 12 weeks after their germination, making them ready by early August if germinated in, say, early May. This benefits quality because the plants flower out under the summer sun, especially with our outdoor cannabis plants selection. However, Autoflower seeds cannot match the quality of a good feminised outdoor variety like Zmäkdaun. These seeds can grow much bigger and who has access to very large pots (we recommend our 420-litre grow pot!) or even better; full soil, can achieve huge harvests that are impossible to achieve with Auto varieties. Although this strain is easy to grow, people using outdoor cannabis seeds with these outdoor cannabis seeds can expect plants up to 4 metres tall in a nice summer and with yields that can reach well over kilos per plant.
For those looking for good compact Autoflower weed plants, we recommend our autoflowering cannabis from our cannabis seed collection. Super Skunk Auto, White Widow Auto, OG Kush Auto, Amnesia Auto, a top choice from our autoflowering cannabis strains. and Santa Marta Haze Auto, among others. However, it is also possible to "tame" the Zmäkdaun by growing the plant in a relatively small pot, e.g. 10 litres of soil, thus preventing the grower from growing the plant too big. It is also perfectly possible to keep the plant "in shape" by applying LST or Scrog

How to grow outdoor seeds
To produce weed outdoors, it is best to start with good outdoor cannabis seeds such as the ones offered by our seed company. Choose seeds that are suitable for your region's climate for growing outdoors. For the UK and Ireland, we recommend using Autoflower varieties if you have a limited growing space. If you have large plants and don't mind waiting until autumn to harvest them, you should choose Zmäkdaun or Big Yeti. Always pay attention to the flowering time and make sure you have a suitable growing environment with as much sunlight as possible and protection from night frost.
What are the differences between Sativa and Indica?
Sativa and Indica are two different groups of cannabis varieties, each with their own characteristics. Sativa plants tend to be tall and slender, while Indica plants are more compact. Sativa usually gives a more energetic high. There is much debate among cannabis connoisseurs and scientists on this subject. Although this classification is widely used by connoisseurs, scientifically there is no clear distinction between them, rather they are quality designations created among cannabis enthusiasts.
Which cannabis varieties are the best outdoor marijuana seeds for outdoor growing?
Autoflowering varieties and highly suitable photoperiod strains such as Zmäkdaun and Big Yeti are especially popular for outdoor cultivation. These plants are easy to grow and cope well with different weather conditions. Zmäkdaun and Big Yeti are not recommended for indoor growing.
How can I protect my cannabis plants against pests and mould?
To protect your cannabis plants from bugs and mould or fungus, it is important to carry out regular inspections. Use natural pesticides if necessary and ensure good air circulation if you work in a greenhouse.
What are the benefits of feminised plants?
Feminised plants are popular because they only produce female plants. This is convenient for growers because males have no buds and fertilise the females, giving you unsmokable buds in the female plants.
How to grow Blue Moby
Blue Moby is an incredibly easy seed that, as our tests show, will produce huge amounts of potent weed with even the smallest amount of nutrients. This is to say that Blue Moby is not a heavy feeder, despite producing killer yields. Defoliation is key for a variety of reasons, but mostly to help maximize the yield, and therefore we recommend that you become familiar with this technique.
Flowering period
The first phenotype took a relatively short time to finish at about 75 days. However, the second pheno would have probably been happier with a full 90 – 100 day cycle for optimum results. That being said, the yield of both strains is worth the wait if you can afford the longer flowering time. The second phenotype also needs an extended preflowering period, and should be given enough time to mature properly so you can really see what she has to offer.
Vegetative phase
Blue Moby’s first phenotype will take just 4 weeks before hardcore flowering starts to happen. The second phenotype might start showing flowering signs at 5 weeks but won’t start really picking up pace until weeks 6 or 7.
What nutrients does Blue Moby need?
These plants were cultivated in generic 1.8-2-2 potting soil. 1g dolomite lime / litre of soil was used as a source of calcium and magnesium. Although they didn’t require any nutrients other than those that were already in the soil during the vegetative phase, these plants accepted all the additional nutrients that they were given. Extra phosphorus and potassium are recommended during the flowering in order to increase yields and boost potency.

THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED IN WET DAMP PLACE LIKE THE UK
Just had a taste of Zmäkdaun after growing her, and I’m impressed. Smooth and fruity. Super pleasant to smoke. Instant classic ?. The high creeps in nice and easy, very relaxing without knocking you out, ideal for walking the dog in the evening. THC feels moderate—not overpowering, but definitely enough to take the edge off and keep a clear head. She was a beast in the garden, handled some ?️ weeks like a champ, and stayed mold-free. Pulled in some big bags. Definitely keeping this one in rotation.
I got some seeds of this strain from Cannafest in Prague 2 years ago, last spring I decided to give them a go and it was a really great experience. It brought me back to my first years growing weed outdoors. The plants where not finished super early like some fast versions but the plant survived everything and finished 100% healthy around the 3rd week of October! some of my other plants where full of mold but Zmakdown not!!! The plants stayed completely free of mold and where the last to finish. The taste and effect are also great, I would say much better then standard autos or fast versions, finally a good quality "normal" outdoor strain! Got some new seeds for this year, well done Seedstockers, more strains like this please!
